''Building from ther noisy and punk oriented sounds of their self-titled album in 2021, the Wollongong trio's second album roams more expansively than the previous. A Healthy Future on Earth contains 10 songs weathered and brushed by elements of shoegaze, indie slacker pop, emo, country rock, and found sound. Melodies confidently swing and twist in a hazy blanket of fecund noise, evoking the dynamics of Unwound, Polvo and Swervedriver and local artists Sandpit and Love of Diagrams.
The electric tension and release of the album is beautifully preserved by Mikey Young's master, and elevated by vocals from MFV's Maggie Fletcher, all aiding to lift this gem into daylight where it can refract and dazzle. This album will be released on October 18th, 2024 as a joint release between Kitty Records in Australia and Flesh & Bone Records in the US.'
"The second album from this Wollongong, Australia-based band is an impressive set of fuzzy indie rock jams that bring a melodic, distortion-heavy touch to their potent mix of shoegaze, slacker rock, noise rock, post-punk, and other 90s-leaning alternative styles." - KEXP Radio, Seattle
