I have always wanted to play with the voices that toy with my brain. If you welcome them they’re not as bad as they can seem. Belonging gives them freedom to flaunt their strange faces, without the fear of rejection or alienation. I wanted the Roland TB-303 to talk with the voices in an ‘alkaline’ way, departing from it’s popular use in acid music. This record blossomed by playing around with these two things, and using singular charismatic synthesisers whose voices do something unique when guided. The voices and I are hoping you enjoy the listen.
