Blueprints is a new pop album by Mia Schoen and Marc Regueiro-Mckelvie . Amongst other projects both are members of the legendary group New Estate and Mia’s current band is Powerful Owl. Marc is also known as Popolice.
Blueprints is full of atmospheric pop gems. Expansive and ethereal. Mia and Marc share the vocals. They recorded the album in two different studios.
Blueprints begins with Marc singing ‘Starlight’, not the Madonna song but the old nursery rhyme, then straight into the epic ‘Spacedust’ with Mia lifting us above the clouds into a realm of pure energy.
Every track is beautifully textured and the album rewards on repeat listens. By the time you get to ‘Submariner’s Report’ you are fully absorbed, Mia and Marc’s voices merging in a Beatles-esque climax.
‘Spring Prep’ closes the album with a spacious Mia acapella number
